How to use the Paraform Chrome Extension to source candidates from LinkedIn and manage them within your dashboard.

We’ve created a Chrome Extension to make recruiting easier! Our Paraform sourcing tool now allows you to source candidates from Linkedin and manage them within your dashboard. It's a great way to start recruiting for any role and seamlessly submit candidates you source to Paraform. To get started, add the extension to your Chrome browser and start sourcing candidates in seconds.
Install our Chrome Extension here. Make sure you 📌 pin it to your browser for better user experience.
Once pinned, the extension is easily accessible from your browser’s toolbar at any time. Click the logo to show the settings menu. This guide is linked here for your reference as well.
Navigate to linkedin.com to begin the Paraform extension experience. You should see this popup on the right-hand side of your screen.
Click the popup to open the tool and login to your Paraform account. If you are already logged in, your account information will automatically load.
You are now powered up with Paraform! Let’s get started by sourcing some candidates.
Here’s the typical workflow in which you would use our Chrome extension to simplify the sourcing experience. We’re always open to feedback and suggestions on how to improve the experience and make it as easy to recruit. Start by picking a role to source for in the Roles tab. This designates which role you are saving candidates of interest to, after which you are able to find and submit them in your Paraform dashboard.
If you think the candidate would be a great fit for the role you picked, click “Save candidate”. This will open up a modal allowing you to add an optional note for your personal tracking purposes. Set the “Contacted” switch to the On position if you have reached out to them already.
Once you have saved a candidate, they will appear in your “Candidates” tab.
After you’ve sourced enough candidates to review, go back to your Paraform recruiter dashboard. Under the sourcing tab, you can view all the candidates you’ve added along with the work experiences and notes for each candidate.
Contact the candidate to see if the candidate is interested in the role you’re recruiting for. If the candidate is interested, you can click the “Submit candidate” button to easily submit the candidate for this role.
Please make sure the candidate is interested and is aware that they are being submitted to the role/company you are recruiting for
Mark and keeping track of whenever you've contacted a candidate within Paraform. Marking this for every candidate you've sourced ensures:
You will be notified if you've sourced a candidate that has already been contacted by another recruiter and vice versa. If you mark a candidate as contacted and you don't submit them within 10 days, they will be automatically be marked as not contacted.
If the hiring has connected their ATS with Paraform, candidates who are already active in their ATS will be marked as contacted automatically.
You can also mark a candidate as contacted from your sourcing dashboard.
We know how frustrating it can be to spend the time and resources to source and submit a candidate only to find out they’ve already been submitted. We’ve built a feature so you’ll know if someone’s been contacted or submitted for a role as early as possible! Here are the different banners you’ll see while browsing LinkedIn with Paraform.
If the candidate has been rejected more than 3 times without being interviewed on other Paraform roles.
