Viewing and managing your candidates on Paraform
By Jeffrey Li
You can easily manage your candidates for any role throughout the entire hiring pipeline (from sourcing to getting hired) all from your recruiter dashboard. We recommend managing any candidate you submit on Paraform through your dashboard to save you time and make you as efficient as possible.
Below is a list of the different candidate statuses you can be in and what each status means along with what you should do after submitting a candidate.
Any candidate you submit on Paraform should first be saved in the sourced tab. This tab can be used to manage candidates you plan to contact or track candidates you’ve already contacted. Most importantly, adding a candidate here ensures:
After you’ve entered a candidate in the sourced tab and verified they haven’t been submitted by another recruiter, you can go ahead and submit them to the company.
There is a maximum pending submission limit of 5. If this is the case, please wait for your current candidates to be reviewed before submitting more. By waiting for feedback, you can better calibrate your search before continuing to source.
Your candidate has been viewed by the hiring manager and is currently reviewing with their team whether they want to proceed and interview them.
Your candidate is currently interviewing with the company. You can view the interview stages and will be updated when your candidate moves to the next stage. If they pass the are chosen for a first round interview, you will receive a partial payment to reward you for your efforts. Learn more about payments here
Your candidate is currently on the backburner. This means they are not currently being considered for the role but may be considered in the future. You will be notified if they are moved back to the interviewing stage.
Your candidate has received an offer from the company. You'll be updated if they accept or reject the offer. If they accept the offer, you will receive the full payment reward for your candidate.
Your candidate has been hired by the company! You will receive the full payment reward for your candidate.
Your candidate wasn’t a great fit for this role. This could be due to a number of reasons and the hiring manager will always give you feedback on why your candidate wasn’t a great fit. They also normally give advice on what to look for in the future when submitting candidates for this role.
For roles that have suggestions enabled, you'll be able to choose up to 5 candidates to suggest for the role. The hiring manager will review your suggestions and if there's interest, you'll be approved for the role to submit them.
The candidates you choose from when suggesting must first be sourced from the Paraform Chrome Extension. This ensures that the candidates you suggest are not already in the system and have not been contacted by another recruiter.
The Paraform Chrome Extension now supports sourcing candidates without having to add them to a specific role so you can easily suggest candidates for any role.
Note: Please only suggest candidates that you believe are a great fit for the role and have given you permission to share their information.
As mentioned in the previous article, every submission on Paraform has to be double opt in. If candidates are submitted against their will or without consent, it will be considered a unsolicited recruiting attempt and can result in immediate account suspension.
Once you submit the candidate, there will be an email that’s sent to the candidate to confirm interest in the role. Once they confirm interest, the hiring manager will get notified
You will be notified of any status updates for your candidate. This includes when they are in-review, interviewing, hired, or rejected. You will also be notified if your candidate is already in the system and has been contacted by another recruiter.
We expect you to be responsive and professional when communicating with the hiring manager. This means responding to any questions or requests within 24 hours. If you are unable to respond within 24 hours, please let the hiring manager know and they will be understanding.
You will be notified via Paraform every time your candidate moves to different stages (you will only be notified once if the candidate is interviewing) so we recommend keeping close tabs with your candidates and see whether there is something
